Did anyone ever see moose up Alder Creek when we lived up there?
How close were you to the ranch... AND were you using the giant lens?

I was also wondering how close you actually were. Those are amazing photos. I looks like you were about 3-5 feet away or something. Crazy. I don't ever remember seeing moose there ever. How crazy! And down low to boot. Great photos!
yes i used the big lens. he was in the river bottoms just before marlin anderson place. i never saw a moose up alder creek when we lived there. i got around 30 yards from him.
Now that's the kind of shooting I like! I LOVE moose! They are the coolest looking/moving animals. I've seen some here this summer and it always makes me smile. Wonderful shots! What a great experience :0)
