Last weekend mike, amy and kids came up for easter. On saturday we took the kids to the easter egg hunt. They all did very well. That afternoon we went up lower cedar creek to see how far up we could make it. there were a lot of avalanches that went all the way across the whole canyon. They were any where from ten to forty feet deep.We did make it about 80% of the way.

Those avalanches look beastly! Bet the kids had a good time on the egg hunt - in spite of all the snow. Kate looks "thrilled" in the basket holding shot :0)
Nice that you got to spend some time with them.
Great shots, as always.

Guess they will be digging out that trail again. That's nuts! I wonder if the new bridge survived.

The Mackay easter egg hunt has become quite family tradition.
Looks like a great weekend with everyone. Looks a LITTLE spring like with minimal jackets.

The kids have really sprouted since last summer! Connor in particular looks more grown up! It's awesome that they still do the egg hunt every year. It's fun that you have that tradition. I can only remember doing the Mackay egg hunt once. Those snow slides are amazing. That is alot of snow. We may have more on Snoqualmie right now though oddly enough. Wish winter would end!!
